ALMA-ATA
Information
Founded in 2006 in Niğde on a 14-decare plot, our journey has grown steadily over the years, reaching over 2,500 decares by 2025. Since our establishment, Alma-Ata Teknik Tarım has specialized in producing certified, true-to-name, disease- and pest-free fruit saplings, focusing primarily on temperate climate fruit trees grafted onto dwarf and semi-dwarf rootstocks.
Between 2006 and 2011, we expanded our production capacity and became one of Turkey’s leading companies in fruit sapling sales.
In 2012, we broadened our vision with investments in 2,000 decares of apple orchards, a cold storage facility, and an apple packaging plant. This allowed us to extend our “From Sapling to Harvest” approach to “From Sapling to Market Shelf,” participating in every stage of the apple supply chain.
Today, we cultivate approximately 2,000,000 fruit saplings annually on 500 decares of production land, with apple saplings making up 90% of our total output. Our apple varieties include Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Jeromine, Gala, and Super Chief, all known for their high yield and strong market value.
Our services go far beyond sapling production. We provide orchard establishment projects, drip irrigation system design and installation, fertilizer and agricultural chemical supply, as well as technical consultancy. To date, we have established over 100,000 decares of orchards across Turkey and the Turkic Republics, and we continue to expand this figure every year.
Our vision is to contribute to Turkish agriculture with sustainable agricultural products and innovative solutions, shaping the future of farming. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality fruit saplings to growers, along with the most accurate technical support, contributing to long-term success in the agricultural sector.
Our core values are honesty, quality, sustainability, and innovation. We see our employees as a big family and combine knowledge, experience, and technology to strengthen our leadership in apple sapling production.
Continuing the apple-growing tradition that has existed in Anatolia since ancient times, we increase our production capacity and variety every year, strengthening the chain of trust and quality that stretches from sapling to market shelf.
